WordPress theme features: What would you like to see?

I’ve been rolling the idea around in my head for a while now to create a WordPress theme, packed with all the features I find myself repeating on each project, as well as some new, useful features… and maybe a few whacky ones as well.

Yesterday, I jotted down a list of features I’d like to potentially include in this theme… some useful, some for repetitive tasks and some just weird and whacky. My question to you all is, what features would you like to see?

They can be any of the above- minimise repetitive tasks, new and useful or just plain weird and whacky. Lets have it guys. What features would you like to see in a WordPress theme?

  1. I would like to have a theme that acts a tourism CMS . The theme will contain About us , Facilities , Rates and a booking form. This theme basically acts a framework for new web developments for resorts , guesthouses , etc. The theme is already integrated with google maps to show the location of the resort on a map above the booking form.

  2. hi matt

I’m doing well, thanks. And you?

Do you mean a feature that, when a post is published, messages get sent to Twitter, Facebook, etc? Sounds like a cool feature. 🙂

      1. yup that is what i meant, would be cool if it wer possible that based on the content it sent it to a particular site, like if u incluude a particular word or tag in the article then it knows to send it to twitter or facebook etc:)
